Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The Insurance Producer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and meeting sales targets for personal, commercial, and life insurance products. Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $550,000.00 per year

Requirements

Experience: 

  • Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Licensing: 

  • Must be licensed in Property and Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident in the State of Missouri (or a have a willingness to obtain one/both).

Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of various types of insurance products, including personal, commercial, and life insurance.
Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:

  • Prospect and generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients for personal and commercial insurance lines.
  • Present and sell insurance products to individuals and businesses, including auto, home, life, health, and commercial insurance.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct needs assessments with clients to determine appropriate coverage and insurance solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing questions or concerns and making policy adjustments as needed.

Insurance Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, insurance products, and state regulations to provide accurate and relevant advice to clients.
  • Customize insurance policies to fit the unique needs of clients, ensuring optimal coverage and competitive pricing.

Administrative Duties:

  • Complete and submit insurance applications and policy renewals accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency's database.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and policy documentation as needed.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other producers and team members to achieve agency goals.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other insurance carriers to obtain quotes, process policies, and resolve any issues related to client coverage.
