The Agent Apprentice will support the agency’s operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the insurance field. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to start a career in insurance, providing training and mentorship to develop skills in client management, sales, and policy administration.
Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Experience in insurance sales or a related field preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Licensing: Valid insurance producer license in Property and Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident in the state of Missouri (or willingness to obtain one/both).
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio.
Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
Policy Recommendations: Analyze clients’ insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance.
Sales Process Management: Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure effective policy implementation and client satisfaction.
Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the agency management system
Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to learn about various insurance products, sales techniques, and industry regulations.
