Insurance Sales Representative


Job Overview

As an Insurance Sales Represeentative, you would be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and promoting our suite of insurance products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance industry, excellent sales skills, and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements

Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Experience in insurance sales or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Licensing: Valid insurance producer license in Property and Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident in the state of Missouri (or a willingness to obtain one/both).

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio.

Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.

Policy Recommendations: Analyze clients’ insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance.

Sales Process Management: Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to clients.

Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure effective policy implementation and client satisfaction.

Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the agency management system.
