Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Sales & Customer Service Experience – Background in sales, customer service, or a related field preferred (insurance experience is a plus but not required).
  • Licensing – Must hold or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance license
  • People Skills – Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Self-Motivation & Goal-Driven Mindset – A proactive, results-oriented approach with excellent time management skills.
  • Independent & Team Player – Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using CRM systems and basic computer applications.
Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Your Agency:
  • Build and manage your own insurance agency with the potential to transition to full ownership.
  • Lead the growth of your business by acquiring and retaining clients in your local community.
  • Create and implement strategies to drive business growth, increase sales, and expand market presence.

Sales and Client Acquisition:


  • Utilize provided leads and prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Close new business deals by matching client needs with appropriate insurance products.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics to drive business success and increase income potential.


Provide Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Develop strong relationships with clients to build trust and ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Educate clients on insurance products, coverage options, and help them choose the best solutions for their needs.
  • Handle client inquiries, claims, and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Training and Professional Development:
  • Participate in a comprehensive training program that covers insurance products, sales techniques, and agency management.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of the insurance industry, company products, and best practices through ongoing training.
  • Apply the learned skills to grow your agency while working alongside a mentor and receiving guidance from the District Office.


Team Leadership and Recruitment (Future Agency Owners):

  • As you develop your agency, recruit, hire, and manage a team of agents who share your entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Provide mentorship and support to your team members, helping them succeed and achieve their goals.
  • Delegate responsibilities and oversee daily operations as your agency expands.
  • Financial Management and Business Operations:
  • Oversee and manage your agency's finances, ensuring profitability and efficient budget management.
  • Track sales performance, agency growth, and financial milestones, setting personal and business goals.
  • Maintain records, manage accounts, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Access to Marketing and Lead Generation:
  • Leverage Farmers marketing resources and lead generation tools to attract clients and grow your agency.
  • Implement marketing campaigns in your local area to build brand recognition and attract prospective customers.
