Farmers Insurance is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent in Training for individuals who want to grow in a sales-driven environment and develop long-term career opportunities within the insurance industry.
If you already have insurance experience or a license, that’s a big plus. If you don’t, but you’re motivated, coachable, and ready to learn, we’re still very interested in talking to you.
This role is designed to help you build real-world sales skills, learn the business, and create a path toward advancement, including the potential to move into agency ownership over time.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Coachable with a willingness to learn and improve
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
- Comfortable in a sales-focused environment
- Organized with the ability to manage follow-up and pipeline activity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Insurance experience and/or active State of Connecticut insurance license preferred—but not required
- Willingness to obtain a State of Connecticut insurance license over time
Responsibilities
- Develop and generate new business through outreach, referrals, and networking
- Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Track and manage pipeline activity and follow-ups
- Present quotes, proposals, and coverage recommendations
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Participate in training and development to build product knowledge and sales skills
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team goals
- Stay current on insurance products, services, and industry knowledge
