Farmers Insurance is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as an Insurance Agent Trainee. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are looking to start a career in insurance sales and agency ownership. The Agent Trainee program offers comprehensive training, mentorship, and support while you learn the business, become licensed, and begin building your client base.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Licensing Assistance

• Possess or be open to obtaining, a Property & Casualty Insurance License with support from our District.
• While not always required, previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is highly preferred
• Achievement of self-generated written premium targets as set by the program.
• Ability to listen effectively and understand client needs to provide tailored solutions
• Strong work ethic and leadership skills
• Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial

• Work side-by-side with an experienced mentor agent
• Learn how to prospect, quote, and sell insurance policies (Auto, Home, Life, Business)
• Support customer engagement, retention, and relationship-building efforts
• Participate in marketing campaigns and community outreach
• Assist with policy reviews and client servicing
• Study and prepare for state insurance licensing exams (if not already licensed)
• Work toward measurable sales and performance goals
