• Must have or obtain life and health insurance license in the next 30 days
• Must be able to complete course work to obtain carrier certification and/or AHIP certification with in 30 days
• Must be thorough with details and ensure all applications are correct
• Ideal candidates are very outgoing and engaging and comfortable talking one on one with clients as well as administering group educational events
• Flexibility with schedule as this has a busy season between Oct-Dec and active but more flexible hours and community outreach remainder of the year
• Ideal candidate is a quick learner and enjoys helping the community

Medicare Specialist will be responsible for enrolling newly eligible candidates into a Medicare plan that fits their needs and offering reviews to existing members to see if their current plans fit their needs.

• Follow scripted medicare presentation templates with every client meeting
• Schedule onsite or over the phone reviews with clients who submitted their forms at least 24 hours prior
• Assist in selection and completion of enrollment applications into the best fit medical plan for the client
• Run open house events for enrollment at the office, in the community or at local companies or retirement centers
