Farmers Insurance – Schaumburg District in Schaumburg, Illinois, is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Consultant. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to dive in, take ownership of their activity, and make an immediate impact within a growing District. From day one, you will operate with independence, proactively building and managing your own book of business that serves as a tangible asset for your future.

While you'll have the freedom to drive your own growth strategy, you won't be doing it alone; you’ll work directly out of our District Office with immediate access to the mentorship, resources, and proven roadmaps needed to ensure your long-term success in the industry.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Active or ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (fully-paid by Farmers Insurance)
  • Proficiency in Communication and excellent Customer Service skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is an advantage but not mandatory
Responsibilities
  • Build long‑term relationships with clients by understanding their needs, educating them on coverage options, and recommending personalized insurance solutions
  • Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, outbound outreach, and consistent follow‑up activity
  • Conduct needs‑based assessments to help clients protect their homes, autos, businesses, and families with appropriate Farmers products
  • Manage a growing book of business by providing exceptional service, timely communication, and ongoing policy reviews
  • Maintain accurate client records, follow compliance standards, and uphold Farmers’ professional and ethical guidelines
  • Collaborate with your agency team to meet sales goals, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to a positive, growth‑focused culture
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and Farmers training resources to continually improve your skills and performance
