Your Role as a Farmers Insurance Agent

  • Prospect, sell, and service a wide range of insurance products including auto, home, life, and commercial coverage.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients manage risk and protect what matters most.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service.

Requirements

✔️ Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for success.

✔️ Sales or customer service experience preferred.

✔️ Active Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) insurance licenses (or willingness to obtain).

✔️ Strong communication and negotiation skills.

✔️ Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and marketing strategies.
  • Develop customized insurance solutions for individuals, families, and businesses.
  • Cross-sell policies to maximize client protection and increase revenue.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional service.
  • Provide policy reviews and updates to ensure proper coverage.
  • Handle customer inquiries, endorsements, and claims assistance.


Agency Growth & Operations:

  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet sales goals and grow the agency.
  • Hire, train, and manage agency staff as the business expands.
  • Maintain compliance with state insurance regulations and Farmers’ policies.
