Insurance Producer Program


Job Overview

The Farmer Insurance district office of San Francisco is currently seeking licensed insurance producers to join our District Agency Producer Program. You will be trained by the District Office in San Francisco and learn through hands on training best practices for Personal Lines, Commercial and Life Insurance Sales. You will be provided with warm transfer commercial and home insurance leads have cross sale opportunities with existing households. You will be given access to the award winning University of Farmers and have direct district level support and training. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with their Property and Casualty and\or Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Requirements

District Producer Candidate Eligibility

To be eligible for the District Agency Producer Program, potential candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must pass a background check in accordance with Farmers guidelines, policies and procedures

* The background check will cover two major areas: State, Federal and County Criminal History, and Regulatory Actions.

• Must have an active property and casualty license, at a minimum

  • The Protégé must have property, casualty, life and health licenses for the Lead Agent to be eligible to receive any performance bonuses.

• Must not be a spouse or domestic partner of a current Farmers agency owner

• Must not work for multiple agents

• Must not have been appointed s an agency staff member for more than 12 months under the participating Farmers agency owner

Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

* Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

* Life & Health Insurance license required.

* Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.

* Confident, self-starter who works well independently.

* Must be highly self-motivated.

* Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
