Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service and sales team. The Customer Service Sales Representative works to maximize positive customer experiences by quickly responding to and resolving customer policy and account related inquiries. The CSSR also directly contributes to and supports sales goals of the agency through new business and cross-sell opportunities.

Industry experience is not required, but would be a great benefit for this position. Will need to obtain a Property & Casualty license in a timely manner with assistance from the agency.

Salary Range: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Solid background in customer service
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Outgoing personality and excellent phone etiquette
• Insurance industry experience preferred but not required
• Must sit for and pass the state of Nevada insurance licensing exams (if not presently licensed) within a reasonable time frame
• Proficient in operating personal computers and performing routine calculations
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Adhere to company and agency policies and guidelines

• Answering phones and assisting walk-in customers
• Review renewal business and identify appropriate follow-up action based on degree of change
• Cross-sell/up-sell products to existing customers
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
• Solicit, sell and negotiate new business policies
• Assist with the annual review process by contacting customers and preparing personalized customer coverage recommendations based on customers' need
• General customer service duties as presented
• Performs other duties as assigned
