We are seeking a licensed Commercial Lines Client Service & Sales Representative (CSSR) to join our insurance agency. This role supports commercial policy administration, endorsements, renewals, certificates, and claims while providing excellent service to business clients.

You will help maintain existing commercial accounts and support new business growth through referrals and sales opportunities. Strong attention to detail, client communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Salary Range: $17.25 - $24.00 per hour

• Must hold an active California Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Minimum of 1 year insurance experience, preferably in commercial lines client service and/or sales.
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., general liability, commercial auto, property, workers’ compensation); familiarity with personal lines is a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with business clients.
• Sales-minded, with the ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Proficient in agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to existing and prospective commercial insurance clients.
• Advise business clients on appropriate coverage options, including general liability, commercial auto, property, workers’ compensation, umbrella, and package policies.
• Process new business submissions, endorsements, renewals, certificates of insurance, and claims inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all sales and service activities comply with insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and agency standards.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell commercial products, including introductions to life, health, and financial products when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, policy documentation, and carrier correspondence.
• Follow up on quotes, renewals, and client requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients through proactive communication and ongoing service.
• Stay current on commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and management to support overall agency growth and client retention.
