We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Agency Business Consultant to join our team at the District office of Gary Edmonds, specializing in supporting Farmers Insurance agencies. As an Agency Business Consultant, you will be instrumental in providing strategic guidance and operational support to Farmers Insurance agency owners and managers. Your role will focus on enhancing agency profitability, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Collaborate & Team-oriented Work Environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience in a consultancy role focused on insurance agency operations, business development, or strategic advisory preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Farmers Insurance products, services, and operational standards preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing business strategies and driving operational improvements within the field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with agencies at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
- Must be licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health or willing to obtain as soon as possible.
- Have the ability to be FINRA licensed and obtain 6, 63 & 26 licenses within the time frame specified by the District Manager.
1. Strategic Business Advisory:
- Collaborate closely with Farmers Insurance agency owners and management to understand their business goals, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of agency operations, identifying areas for improvement and development.
- Develop and implement tailored business strategies and action plans to optimize agency performance and achieve long-term success.
2. Operational Excellence and Relationship Management:
- Analyze agency workflows, processes, and procedures to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with Farmers Insurance agency owners as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client agencies, ensuring exceptional service delivery and responsiveness and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
3. Financial Performance Optimization:
- Evaluate financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify revenue growth opportunities and cost-saving measures.
- Develop financial forecasts, budgeting strategies, and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Monitor financial trends and provide strategic recommendations to enhance agency profitability and financial sustainability.
4. Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for agency staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in critical areas such as sales techniques, customer retention strategies, and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within Farmers Insurance agencies.
- Mentor agency personnel on effective management practices, leadership skills, and compliance with Farmers Insurance guidelines.
