Position Overview:

The Service Retention Specialist will handle overflow from the current service team while focusing primarily on client outreach, retention strategies, and renewal optimization. This position balances both service and sales functions and requires strong communication, problem-solving, and technology skills. A key component includes leveraging the value of life insurance as a retention and financial planning tool, while also creating meaningful connections through client touchpoints and digital engagement.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Requirements

- 2+ years in insurance service or account management

- Active P&C license (Life & Health preferred; not required)

- Strong communication and tech skills

- CRM, automation, and social media platform experience

- Event planning or outreach experience preferred

Responsibilities

- Handle service overflow and conduct outreach to clients

- Review renewals and rewrite policies to retain business

- Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities (especially life insurance)

- Schedule life appointments for existing staff weekly

- Use CRM (Little Giant) for automation, reporting, and tracking

- Create and manage social media content weekly

- Plan and support client appreciation events and seasonal giveaways

- Account servicing

- Collaborate with CSRs, producers, and leadership
