As an Agency Producer, you will perform outside sales activities to generate appointments, market a wide array of insurance products (auto, home, life, umbrella, specialty), and most importantly, sell. You'll receive inbound sales-qualified leads, walk-ins, and a marketing budget

The Cohen Insurance Agency exclusively sells Farmers Insurance products. When Farmers declines the risk, our agency can broker the business, giving us multiple opportunities to close the deal. Great earnings with future long-term career advancement available. Potential to enter our prestigious Protege Agent Sales Program (own your own agency in the future).

Salary Range: $36,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

IMPORTANT - You must have reliable transportation. Employees of Farmers Insurance exclusive agents must be able to complete any applicable licensing requirements (if required) and any assigned training programs. Farmers Insurance agents are independent contractors who hire their employees. Farmers Agents employees are not employees of Farmers Insurance and their affiliates.

• Active Texas Property & Casualty license is required or obtained within 60 days of hire; a Texas Life Insurance license must be obtained within 180 days of hire - regardless, must be able to pass a background check
• Minimum 1-2 years of successful sales experience (insurance or financial service industry preferred)
• Minimum education: High School Graduate
• Be a confident self-starter with a sense of urgency, who can work independently as well as with other salespeople
• You are awesome at getting appointments and binding policies from a cold start
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn the business, be intuitive, resourceful, and most importantly, coachable - no ego's here

• Meet and exceed new business revenue goals and objectives as established by the agency owner
• Hunt for new business opportunities by pursuing leads generated from warm-calling, door-knocking, referrals, networking, social media marketing, and x-date lead sourcing
• Consistent, daily cadence of quoting, making multiple sales presentations, and binding policies using a combination of phone, text, and email
• Meet or exceed daily activity quotas (dials, call duration, number of quotes, presentations, closes)
• Track and manage all sales activity in our CRM (salesforce.com)
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, auto dealers, local businesses, BNI Groups, etc.
