Retail Agency: Receive a sign on bonus along with financial marketing support; unlimited earning potential; be your own boss; build an agency in your local community

Protégé Agency Producer Program: Develop and grow your skills and business knowledge with a successful Farmers Insurance mentor agent

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

The Chicago District Headquarters of Farmers Insurance is a team of experienced insurance professionals that are here to help you succeed. When you partner with our District Office team, you receive support from Business Consultants, Talent Recruiters, Trainers, and Product Specialists to help you develop and grow your business. In addition, you will be working alongside some of the best Farmers Agents in the country.

Study materials and leads will be provided. No prior experience in insurance is required. As a Farmers agent, you can truly make a difference by helping people with their insurance and financial service needs, while being a leader in your community. If you have ever dreamed of running your own business, but don't know where to start, this is your opportunity.

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and coachable
• Must be a superb communicator, able to analyze complex ideas, and possess a business development and customer service background
• Be able to obtain or currently hold a Property & Casualty / Life & Health insurance license(s)
• High school or Associates/Bachelor’s degree

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
• Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients to accurately identify their unique needs before pursuing specific insurance sales
• Originate insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
