What You’ll Do

* Build relationships with new and existing clients

* Generate leads and identify sales opportunities

* Educate customers on insurance products and coverage options

* Help support and grow the agency’s client base

* Follow up with prospects and maintain client relationships

* Learn sales strategies, agency operations, and customer retention practices

About the Protege Mentorship Program

This role includes participation in the Farmers Insurance Protege Mentorship Program, providing hands-on training and exposure to multiple areas of the insurance business.

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals while learning:

  • Sales and business development strategies
  • Client relationship management
  • Marketing and lead generation
  • Agency growth and operations
  • Leadership and professional development skills

What We’re Looking For

* Sales or customer service experience preferred

* Insurance license preferred (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain before start)
  • General Lines Life & Health license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Coachable & ready to learn
Responsibilities
  • Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance products
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Create customized quotes, deliver confident sales presentations, and close new business
  • Follow up on leads and maintain strong client relationships
  • Consistently meet and exceed new business production and activity goals
  • Engage with customers primarily by phone while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment
