Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Active insurance license in the state of operation.
  • Proven experience in commercial lines insurance account management.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and coverage options.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex risk profiles and develop customized insurance solutions.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems and insurance software - preferably Epic.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned commercial clients through regular communication, proactive outreach, and in-person meetings along with Producer. Understand client business operations and risk exposures to identify appropriate insurance coverage needs. 


Policy Placement and Renewal: Market client accounts to multiple insurance carriers to secure the best coverage at competitive pricing. Prepare proposals with coverage options and comparisons. Bind accepted coverages, issue certificates, and Auto ID cards; review policies. Manage renewal process, including reviewing expiring policies, negotiating terms with carriers, and presenting renewal options to clients.


Policy Servicing: Process policy endorsements, certificate requests, and policy changes as needed. Monitor policy audits and assist clients with any necessary adjustments. Handle claims reporting and follow-up with clients and carriers. 


Business Development: Identify potential new business opportunities within existing client base through cross-selling and upselling additional coverage lines. Participate in marketing initiatives and networking events to generate new leads. 


Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and business interruption coverage. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
