Insurance Sales Agent


Job Overview

sales experience is REQUIRED. Heavy outbound calling and phone activity, intensive sales training, base + commission can equal to $60k to $100k or more depending on your skill, tenacity, and tenure.

All candidates must be licensed in general lines property and casualty, and Life and Health licensed.

Bilingual is a plus.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Ability to obtain or possess an active Life & Health Insurance license.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus. 
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and executing a marketing plan while having access to a monthly agency marketing budget. 

You will market, grow, and maintain a book of business within an existing local training agency.  You will need to have a passion for helping others as well as the utmost integrity and honesty as you are here to help the community protect and grow their assets.  You will be doing on the job, daily learning, of marketing, sales, and service.

You will have quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily goals, which you will learn how to manage your time and resources effectively to give you the greatest return on your time and investment.
