Job Overview

A technical role responsible for conducting comprehensive environmental assessments, focusing on asbestos, lead, mold, and hazardous materials inspections under senior leadership supervision. This position combines technical expertise with project coordination to ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining high-quality environmental consulting services.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year

Requirements

Education & Certifications

·        High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in:

o   Environmental Science

o   Occupational Health & Safety

o   Related technical field

·        Required certifications:

o   EPA Asbestos Inspector Certification (or equivalent)

o   Additional relevant certifications as specified

 

Technical Experience

·        Minimum 2 years progressive experience in:

o   Environmental consulting

o   Construction/restoration

o   Related technical field

·        Proficiency in:

o   Sampling techniques and equipment operation

o   Laboratory result interpretation

o   Technical report writing

o   Environmental monitoring procedures

Responsibilities

Environmental Assessment

·        Conduct property inspections across residential, commercial, and industrial settings

·        Perform specialized testing and sample collection using advanced equipment

·        Execute indoor air quality assessments and monitoring

·        Document detailed inspection findings following standardized protocols

·        Analyze laboratory results and provide preliminary recommendations

·        Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation

 

Project Coordination

·        Maintain detailed project files and documentation

·        Track project timelines and completion dates

·        Coordinate with contractors and vendors

·        Manage client communications and collection procedures

·        Process authorization and payment documentation

·        Support inventory management and supply ordering

 

Client Relations

·        Interface with customers and insurance representatives

·        Prepare professional correspondence and reports

·        Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders

·        Document client interactions and project updates

·        Support collection procedures and payment processing

  

Compliance & Safety

·        Follow all established safety protocols and procedures

·        Maintain current knowledge of regulations and guidelines

·        Adhere to company SOPs and best practices

·        Support environmental compliance requirements

·        Complete required training and certifications promptly
