Candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, assessing their insurance needs, and recommending appropriate policies. You will be working at the forefront of our customer service department while recognizing and creating new client opportunities.

Candidate should have excellent communication skills, sales skills and a commitment to delivering world class customer service.

Please note that this is an in-office position, and the work schedule is from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Requirements

Qualifications for the Insurance Specialist:


*Must have Insurance Producer's licenses in Property & Casualty, Life & Health from State of Texas.


  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years of prior sales experience - preferably in a fast pace agency
  • A desire to learn, grow, and thrive in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills relationship building skills
  • Ability to overcome objections and consistently close sales
  • Must be comfortable making outbound sales calls (cold calls) and enjoy communicating with clients over the phone in an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic manner
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be resourceful, and coachable
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding defined sales goals
  • Self-confidence, perseverance, the ability to remain positive and maintain progress towards a goal in spite of obstacles and adversity
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with a results-driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiating and decision-making abilities.


Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close new business sales by conducting needs assessments and providing customized insurance solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, and outbound marketing with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, auto Dealers, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services
  • Staying informed about competing products and services and industry trends
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements
  • Manage and update client information in the agency management system
  • Build trust and client relationships by providing the best insurance options to meet their needs and protect their assets
  • Demonstrating the benefits of our agency and services provided
  • Ability to achieve high sales targets
