Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Licensed 4-40 Customer Service Representative to support our personal and/or commercial lines insurance team. This role is responsible for servicing existing accounts, assisting clients with policy needs, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with Florida insurance regulations.

Salary Range: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Requirements

Qualifications

Active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License (required)

1–3+ years of insurance agency experience preferred

Knowledge of personal lines (home, auto) and/or commercial lines

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., QQ Catalyst, AMS360, or similar)

Microsoft Office proficiency


Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages)

Experience with quoting carriers and rating systems

Familiarity with certificates of insurance and commercial accounts

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day service to clients, including policy changes, renewals, and coverage questions

Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, binders, and cancellations

Review policies for accuracy and completeness

Assist producers/agents with account management and retention efforts

Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely, professional manner

Prepare and send quotes, proposals, and policy documents

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system

Follow up on renewals and remarket policies as needed

Educate clients on coverage options and policy features (within licensing scope)

Ensure compliance with Florida insurance laws and agency procedures
