Experience: Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a related field. GM experience is preferred.
Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with dealership management software and other digital tools.
Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Client Interaction: Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service, addressing their concerns and needs promptly and professionally.
Service Coordination: Schedule and manage service appointments, ensuring efficient workflow in the service department and timely completion of work.
Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for service and repairs, explaining them clearly to customers to ensure transparency.
Technical Liaison: Communicate effectively with automotive technicians to relay customer issues and determine the appropriate solutions.
Upselling Opportunities: Identify and recommend additional services or repairs that may benefit the customer, enhancing their vehicle's performance and longevity.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service transactions, including customer information, repairs performed, and parts used.
Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or concerns with a positive attitude, ensuring satisfactory resolutions and fostering customer loyalty.
