Exciting opportunity for an insurance professional to provide customized insurance solutions and manage portfolios for our valued personal and commercial lines clients. The Account Manager will have at least 1 year of experience in an insurance office setting. A Property & Casualty license will be required if not already achieved. He or she manages the full life cycle of insurance with a focus on developing and retaining client relationships.
Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

This is an in-office position with BNC Insurance Agency in Sylvan Lake, Michigan. Qualified applicants should have working knowledge of office operations and property & casualty insurance products; must also have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Should have clean and professional office etiquette.
Essential Functions:
• Provide outstanding service to clients by reviewing and discussing insurance policies. Assisting with policy changes, customer inquiries, payment handling, document filing.
• Assist with insurance reviews and setting up new insurance policies to inbound prospective clients.
• Inform clients about insurance policy terms, conditions, insurance coverage gaps and risk management issues. Discuss life events and material changes that affect underwriting, surcharges & discounts.
• Maintain customer accounts in agency management system, documenting conversations in activity log, sending confirmations to insureds and adhering to all other automation procedures.
• Create and maintain good working relationships with clients, insurance company underwriters, sales, marketing & claims representatives.
• Perform all duties relating to customers and companies in a manner that will avoid issues involving potential errors and omissions.
