Sales Associate Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Job Overview
Adrian Rivas Insurance Agency is looking for a driven, bilingual (Spanish/English) Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. With over 70% of our clientele being Spanish-speaking, we’re seeking someone who understands the Latino community and can effectively communicate in both languages. This is a base salary position with the opportunity to earn commission and bonuses based on performance.
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in expanding our client base and providing insurance solutions for auto, home, business, and life insurance.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience preferred (insurance industry experience is a plus)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Licensing: Must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses (we will provide guidance and support for this process)
- Fully bilingual (Spanish/English) – must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in both languages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Comfortable using technology and CRM software to manage client information and follow up on leads
- Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to grow both personally and professionally
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities by reaching out to potential clients via phone, email, and in person
- Build strong relationships with the Latino community, helping them understand the value of our insurance products in both English and Spanish
- Offer personalized insurance solutions for auto, home, business, and life insurance, tailored to the client’s specific needs
- Actively manage and grow a portfolio of clients by offering outstanding service and continuous support
- Cross-sell and upsell additional products to existing clients, focusing on meeting their comprehensive insurance needs
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals, contributing to the agency’s growth and success
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in insurance policies to provide accurate information to clients
- Assist clients through the entire sales process, from quoting to binding policies
- Work with the team to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction
- Participate in networking and community events to grow your client base and strengthen relationships
