We’re looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Telemarketer to be the first point of contact with our leads. In this role, you’ll make outbound calls, ask a simple set of qualifying questions, and set appointments for our sales team to deliver prepared quotes. Your ability to build quick rapport and create opportunity will directly drive the success of the entire team.

This is a performance-driven position with strong earning potential. You’ll receive a base salary plus commission on sales generated from the appointments you set, along with additional bonuses for each qualified appointment and for appointments that show up. The more consistent and driven you are, the more you earn simple as that.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone
  • Positive attitude with high energy and a team-first mindset
  • Coachable and willing to follow proven scripts and systems
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and internal drive to succeed
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay consistent throughout the day
  • Organized and able to manage call volume, notes, and follow-ups effectively
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate CRM systems
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual
  • Preferred (Not Required)
  • Previous sales, telemarketing, or call center experience
  • Familiarity with basic insurance terms or industry knowledge
  • Experience working in a performance-based or commission-driven role
Responsibilities
  • Make high-volume outbound calls to warm and cold leads daily
  • Quickly build rapport and control conversations over the phone
  • Ask and confirm key qualifying questions with each prospect
  • Identify qualified homeowners and create urgency around reviewing their coverage
  • Set clear, committed appointments for the sales team with accurate information
  • Properly document all calls, notes, and outcomes in the CRM
  • Follow up with leads to confirm, reschedule, and increase appointment show rates
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities through disciplined daily activity
  • Handle rejection professionally and stay persistent throughout the day
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of appointments
  • Hit and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and appointment targets
  • Continuously improve scripts, objection handling, and closing for appointments
