The District Retention Specialist (DRS) plays a vital role in supporting Farmers Insurance agencies by driving customer retention initiatives. This position is responsible for executing inbound and outbound communication strategies to help agency owners retain existing policies and cross-sell additional products. As a dedicated retention expert, the DRS will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging best practices and data insights to help agencies maintain and grow their book of business.
Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Active licenses in Property & Casualty, Life, and Health insurance.
Appointment as a District Retention Specialist (DRS) under a single district manager.
Demonstrated customer service and communication skills with the ability to influence client decisions.
High level of organization and attention to detail in documenting and tracking retention efforts.
Proficient in using Farmers systems including APEX and My Agent Self Service (MASS).
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with multiple agency owners.
Conduct proactive outreach to customers identified as at-risk of cancellation.
Address client concerns, resolve billing or coverage issues, and reinforce the value of staying with Farmers Insurance.
Collaborate with agency owners to identify opportunities for cross-selling and policy rewrites.
Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and outcomes in APEX and the DRS Customer Interaction Form.
Educate agency teams on effective retention strategies and provide ongoing guidance as a subject matter expert.
Monitor key retention metrics including Net Policies Retained/Added and Survival Rates.
Ensure all communications adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal company policies.
Participate in designated training programs through University of Farmers and remain current on system tools and policy products.
