Our office is quickly growing and we need someone who we can train to fit in our office puzzle! The position offered is full time. Our Customer Service Representative needs to exceed customer service standards to current clients while also assisting prospects as they call in.

• Active Texas Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
• Ability to work independently and recognize what needs to be done without constant direction

• Prior insurance customer service experience preferred
• Strong phone communication and customer service skills

• Take full ownership of assigned service requests from start to resolution
• Proactively identify next steps without waiting to be told
• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls, emails, and texts
• Accurately document all customer interactions and actions taken in the agency management system
• Follow up on open items, pending carrier actions, and customer requests until completed
• Manage time effectively and stay focused on assigned priorities throughout the day
• Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, cancellations, and reinstatements
• Monitor late payments and cancellation notices and take appropriate action to retain customers
• Cross-sell additional insurance products when appropriate and flag opportunities for sales
• Communicate clearly with insurance carriers to resolve client issues
• Support onboarding of new policies after sale
• Maintain professionalism and accountability in all customer interactions
