We are currently seeking a passionate and self-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling and marketing insurance products to both existing clients and new customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, possess a client-focused attitude, and demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, building trust, and nurturing long-term relationships.

Compensation:

  • The base salary starts at $35,360 annually.
  • Potential to earn up to $90,000 with commissions and performance-based bonuses.

Salary Range: $35,360.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Licensing: Candidates must obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license within 60 days.
  • Typing Proficiency: Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Teamwork: Must be a team player, with the ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Sales Ability: Proven selling skills, including the ability to follow up with clients and close deals effectively.
  • Attitude: A positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach to work is required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in the use of Google Workspace, Adobe, Calendly, and other relevant software applications.
  • Computer Skills: Must demonstrate proficiency in using a computer.
  • Location: Must work in our office
Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Handle customer renewals.
  • Ability to handle the lead volume and convert from prospect to client
  • Demonstrated ability to verify information, quote, propose and close new business, and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing clients
  • Receive, review, and present proposals to prospects and convert them to clients
  • Maintain all client activity and notes in the agency management system
  • Follow up with all clients, underwriters, vendors, and brokers on time
  • Maintain professional & good working relationships between various carriers, underwriters, and other outside agencies and organizations
  • Ability to learn systems and software quickly (examples: Google Sheets, Docs, Adobe, DocuSign, Dropbox, and more)
  • Ability to multitask successfully
  • Ability to assist team members.
