Licensing: Active Kansas Property & Casualty License is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in commercial lines insurance sales or account management is advantageous.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
Experience with Applied EPIC, most beneficial and looked upon favorably.
Client-Focused: A strong commitment to understanding and meeting the unique needs of commercial clients.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a hybrid remote work environment while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.
Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with a team of insurance professionals to achieve common goals.
Tech Proficient: Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, including CRM platforms and insurance management systems.
Client Management: Cultivate relationships with commercial clients, understanding their needs and offering customized insurance solutions. Account Handling: Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring timely service and policy renewals. Risk Assessment: Conduct in-depth risk assessments for commercial clients, identifying potential gaps in coverage. Policy Review: Review and analyze commercial policies to ensure accuracy and coverage adequacy. New Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth within existing client base and actively seek new business prospects. Compliance: Ensure all commercial policies and procedures adhere to industry regulations and company standards.
