Job Overview

A Customer Support Specialist at City Lifestyle must have a servant's heart and a deep-seeded desire to help others succeed through training. Communication skills are vital to this role and should be clear, thoroughly explanatory while remaining positive, empathetic and professional. Successful Customer Service Specialists are able to gain a strong understanding of our company’s operations so they can resolve tickets accurately and efficiently. They should enjoy working at a clipped pace and be strong problem solvers. Customer Service Specialists need to be able to approach conflict head on and in a constructive way while maintaining a positive attitude.

Salary Range: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Requirements

This individual should possess the following skills/traits:

  • Strong relational communication skills.
  • The desire to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to growth within our rapidly expanding company. Self-induced initiative is greatly desired.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Open to constructive criticism.

Job Requirements:

  • Education in Communications or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service related roles.
  • Residency in Kansas City metropolitan area.
  • Full time, onsite.
  • Driving to onsite cultural activities as requested.
  • Sitting or standing as preferred for long periods of time in front of a computer.
Responsibilities
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, professionalism, and courtesy in all retention transactions.
  • Answer questions from the field pertaining to billing inquiries, ads lists, editorials written, print and distribution of magazines centered around monthly deadlines.
  • Have a full understanding of and consistently demonstrate proficiency at explaining all products and services to existing internal customers.
  • Make administrative revisions to account information as needed.
  • Recognize recurring issues in tickets, investigate the potential problems and innovate long term solutions.
  • Make phone calls to amicably resolve escalated requests.
