Job Overview
An Onboarding and Retention Specialist for insurance clients focuses on both welcoming new clients and ensuring existing ones remain satisfied and engaged. This role involves guiding new clients through the initial setup and understanding their policies, as well as proactively addressing concerns and implementing strategies to maintain client loyalty and prevent policy cancellations.
Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Requirements
- Insurance license (P&C and/or Life & Health) preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven team environment.
- Strong follow-through and ownership of client experience from onboarding to long-term retention.
Responsibilities
- Guide new clients through the post-sale onboarding process: confirm coverage details, set expectations, gather necessary documents, and introduce key points of contact.
- Conduct welcome calls/emails/texts and ensure all setup steps are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during the clients first 90 days, resolving issues and reinforcing the value of our agency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to reduce client turnover and improve long-term satisfaction.
- Coordinate with sales agents and service team to ensure seamless client experience.
- Identify and upsell opportunities.
- Monitor retention trends and follow up proactively with at-risk accounts while working personal lines renewals.
