We're a well-established, family-owned independent insurance agency looking to hire an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. We've been serving clients since 1947 and were voted Best Place to Work in Floyd County in both 2022 and 2024.

We're seeking someone who is passionate about customer service, confident in their insurance knowledge, and enjoys being part of a team that values integrity, excellence, and community. This is a full-time, in-office role.

Supportive, Family-Oriented Work Environment

• At least 3 years of experience managing Personal Lines accounts
• Active P&C License in Indiana and/or Kentucky
• Strong communication skills-both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized while managing a busy desk
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Familiarity with agency management systems and comparative raters (preferred)

• Respond to phone calls and emails from Personal Lines clients
• Provide expert advice on coverage and recommend appropriate changes
• Conduct policy reviews and check-ups
• Assist clients with billing questions and claims processes
• Send certificates, ID cards, and evidence of insurance
• Quote new business using a comparative rater
• Process endorsements and changes on carrier websites
• Cross-sell and upsell additional products when appropriate
• Accurately document all activity in our agency management system
• Stay current on carrier underwriting guidelines and product changes
• Follow agency policies and workflows for the Personal Lines department
