Requirements

Qualification: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in corporate counsel or a related legal field with a focus on contract law.

Licensing: Active member of the Missouri State Bar Association.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex legal documents.

Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation skills to manage and resolve disputes effectively.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing and drafting legal documents.

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

Contract Drafting and Review: Create, evaluate, and negotiate a wide range of contracts to support our automotive operations and ensure compliance with legal standards.

Legal Advice: Provide informed legal counsel to upper management on all corporate legal matters, particularly concerning contract law and compliance issues.

Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks related to contracts and propose appropriate measures to mitigate such risks.

Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and external legal advisors, to ensure aligned legal strategy and compliance.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all corporate contracts are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Dispute Resolution: Manage legal disputes related to company contracts, working proactively to resolve issues efficiently.
