After completing in-office training, you’ll have the flexibility of a hybrid remote schedule that allows you to balance independent work with team collaboration.

Your role will involve delivering personalized insurance and financial protection solutions to individuals, families, and businesses. You’ll build your client base through proactive networking, referrals, and meaningful community engagement. Our product offerings include a wide range of COUNTRY Financial solutions—from auto, home, and life insurance to business and retirement services. You’ll also take part in local events to help grow our brand awareness and presence, all while contributing to a positive and supportive team culture focused on shared success.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need active Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Licenses or be willing to obtain them promptly.

Previous sales experience, especially in insurance or financial services, is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, along with the motivation to serve and the ambition to lead.

Requirements

Licensing: Must possess an active Colorado Property & Casualty License or willing to obtain.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in insurance sales or a similar field.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Customer-Focused: A dedication to understanding and meeting client needs.

Adaptability: Proficiency in adapting to a hybrid work model, balancing remote tasks and in-office work effectively.

This role is designed for a motivated individual with a strong desire to grow into a management position as we continue expanding our team. The ideal candidate will take pride in building and maintaining a robust insurance book of business, contributing to a larger vision that includes holistic financial planning services.


What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consultative, needs-based sales
  • Offer tailored solutions in auto, home, and business insurance, with opportunities to expand into life and retirement
  • Develop new business through referrals, networking, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with our in-house financial advisor team for cross-selling and comprehensive planning
  • Represent the Whitmore Legacy Team at local events and community gatherings
  • Maintain accurate records, follow compliance standards, and provide exceptional ongoing service
  • Participate in personal development and mentorship opportunities, preparing you for advancement into a Sales Manager role


Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their home, auto, business insurance needs and offer customized policy advice.

Sales Goals: Achieve and exceed sales targets by cross-selling and upselling insurance products to new and existing clients.

Follow-up: Maintain client relationships post-sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction and coverage adjustments as necessary.

Industry Knowledge: Keep updated on insurance industry trends and state regulations to provide informed advice and competitive offerings.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members to strategize and implement sales initiatives that align with broader business objectives.

Record Keeping: Accurately document client interactions, policies, and negotiations to maintain comprehensive records that support effective account management.
