What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consultative, needs-based sales
  • Offer tailored solutions in auto, home, and business insurance, with opportunities to expand into life and retirement
  • Develop new business through referrals, networking, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with our in-house financial advisor team for cross-selling and comprehensive planning
  • Represent the Whitmore Legacy Team at local events and community gatherings
  • Maintain accurate records, follow compliance standards, and provide exceptional ongoing service
  • Participate in personal development and mentorship opportunities, preparing you for advancement into a Sales Manager role

What We’re Looking For:

  • Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain
  • Previous sales experience—preferably in insurance, financial services, or a relationship-focused role
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and excited about career growth

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements

Licensing: Possess an active Colorado Property & Casualty License or willing to obtain.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in insurance sales or a similar field.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Customer-Focused: A dedication to understanding and meeting client needs.

Adaptability: Proficiency in adapting to a hybrid work model, balancing remote tasks and in-office work effectively.

Team Engagement: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, with an inviting demeanor to facilitate open communication.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital communication tools is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation: Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs for home, auto, and business insurance. Provide personalized policy recommendations that align with their goals and protection priorities.
  • Sales Performance: Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets through proactive outreach, effective cross-selling, and strong relationship-building strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain long-term relationships by providing exceptional post-sale service, conducting regular coverage reviews, and recommending policy updates as life and business needs evolve.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay current with insurance industry trends, product updates, and Colorado state regulations to ensure clients receive the most informed and competitive solutions available.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with teammates and leadership to implement sales strategies, share insights, and contribute to a supportive, results-driven office culture.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of client communications, quotes, policy changes, and transactions to ensure compliance and support ongoing client service.
