Job Overview

The Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for bridging the communication between customers and the service department. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their service requirements, recommending necessary maintenance and repairs, and providing detailed estimates of work. The advisor schedules service appointments, manages follow-ups, and ensures customer satisfaction through clear and proactive communication. Effective coordination with technicians to accurately convey the service details is crucial. The advisor must maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and transactions, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and service requirements.

Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage service requests, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Professionalism: Present a polished image, adhere to company standards, and represent the dealership with integrity.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians, parts department, and other service advisors to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

Client Interaction: Communicate with customers, assess their service requirements, and provide knowledgeable recommendations.

Technical Support: Work closely with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure services are completed accurately.

Follow-Up: Reach out to customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns.
