Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated interest or experience in automotive repair and maintenance.

Physical Ability: Capability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions, including standing for extended periods.

Team-Oriented: Strong ability to work collaboratively with other technicians and service staff.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.

Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately.

Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance: Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Diagnostic Support: Learn and assist in diagnosing vehicle issues using computer diagnostic tools and manual methods.

Repair Assistance: Aid in executing various repair procedures, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and electrical system maintenance.

Equipment Management: Maintain shop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any issues to senior technicians.

Safety Compliance: Observe all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment as per industry standards.

Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and provide updates on repairs under supervision.

Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing training opportunities to expand automotive expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies.
