Requirements

Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.

Experience: Prior experience as a title clerk or in a similar administrative role in the automotive industry is preferred.

Attention to Detail: Strong detail orientation to accurately process documents and maintain records.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with customers.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with automotive dealership software systems.

Integrity: High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to effectively resolve issues and discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Document Management: Maintain accurate records of vehicle titles and registration documents, ensuring they comply with relevant regulations.

Title Transfers: Process title transfers for new and used vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.

Liaison Tasks: Collaborate with finance, sales, and service departments to streamline document processing.

Customer Service: Provide excellent support in resolving any title-related issues or inquiries from customers.

Compliance: Stay updated with title and registration laws and ensure all documentation adheres to state and federal regulations.

Data Entry: Accurately input data into the dealership's system to maintain up-to-date records.

Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of titles and registrations.
