Job Overview

Our fast paced, growing insurance office is looking to fill an entry level sales position. This position is part time, scheduling appointments or calling our contacts for new clients needing new insurance quotes or coverage reviews.  Full time employment opportunities are also available for sales representatives looking to improve their selling techniques and increase commissions.  This position offers a base salary + commission opportunities.. Requirements
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Must have ability to multi-task.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years prior sales experience is preferred.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.

Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
  • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone
  • Uphold the wants and needs of your customers
