Job Overview
Our Farmers Insurance agency in Rowlett is hiring a licensed, results-driven sales professional ready to build a real book of business and take control of their income.
This is not a “sit back and wait” role. This is for someone who knows how to turn leads, past clients, and relationships into consistent production—and wants to get paid for it.
You’ll have agency-provided leads, real support, and the autonomy to win. What you do with it is up to you.
What Winning Looks Like
- You turn untapped leads into real conversations—and closed policies
- You work the process daily: calls, follow-up, quotes, and closes
- You identify coverage gaps and confidently recommend solutions
- You build referral relationships that generate ongoing business
- You track your numbers, own your results, and push to improve monthly
- You create opportunities instead of waiting for them
Salary Range: $36,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Requirements
- Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license required.
- Proven ability to multi-task, stay organized, and follow through in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the confidence to lead conversations and close.
- Mentally tough and comfortable with rejection—you don’t take “no” personally.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Life, Accident & Health license is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Build and own your pipeline using agency leads, past clients, and referral partnerships you create
- Hit and exceed new business goals—consistently, not occasionally
- Quote, present, and close with confidence (not “let me think about it and call you back”)
- Work prospects daily through calls, auto-dialer, email, and whatever gets results
- Stay on your pipeline—tight follow-up, no dropped opportunities
- Find coverage gaps and position real solutions clients actually understand and keep
- Turn one deal into multiple opportunities through cross-sell and referrals
