Blue Eagle Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency located on Padre Island in Corpus Christi, Texas, and we are looking for a goal-oriented, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude to join our team as a Full-Time Inside Sales Specialist - Personal Lines. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with us. Every day you'll be using your strong communication and customer service skills, problem-solving, rapport-building, and time-management talents to help ensure you are providing the best experience for our customers.

This position’s primary responsibilities are sales growth and retention within the existing Personal Lines book of business by retaining existing clients through policy rewrites and sales growth through cross-selling existing customers. Plus new business growth/sales activities.

Base compensation is hourly, plus commission and bonus opportunities based on achievement of retention and growth goals.

• Must have reliable transportation to commute each day to and from the office on Padre Island.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
• Be capable of handling customer rejection.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

• Meet retention and business growth goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make presentations over the phone or in person, and close sales.
• Cross-sell existing customers by utilizing phone, email and other communication methods; secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
