Licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and knowledgeable commercial lines market specialist whose focus will primarily be on marketing/placements of new and renewal policies. Our new team member needs to be organized, detail-oriented, have a deep understanding of policy coverages, and provide exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects. In this role, it is crucial to have the ability to multi-task and seamlessly pivot from one task to another. While this position is HYBRID, it reports into our Bloomfield Hills, MI office.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements

Licensing: Active Property & Casualty License required, with Commercial Lines experience preferred.


Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial insurance or a related customer service role.


Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.


Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess client needs, address issues, and propose effective solutions.


Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software tools.


Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrate a positive attitude, and contribute to a supportive work environment.


Adaptability: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid remote work setting, managing time efficiently while maintaining quality service standards.

Responsibilities

-Responsible for online quoting.

-Complete Accord Applications, Supplemental Applications, etc.

-Monitor submission process.

-Prepare proposals for client meetings.

-Handle client, carrier, and producer requests.

-Upsell / cross sell opportunities.

-Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, carrier partners, management, and producers daily.
