Job Overview

Our Allstate Agency is rapidly growing, and we want to train the right individuals to fit into our company. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time Insurance Sales Agent.

We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural born sales person with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. To sell, market, and service our insurance products to existing clients and new customers. As a full-time agent you will help individuals, families, and small businesses secure their tomorrows.

Are you looking to break into the insurance industry? Great, your base salary will start at $35,000 and first year commissions are expected to be around $15,000

Are you an experienced insurance sales veteran looking for a change of scenery? Your base salary will start at $38,000 and our top earners made $57,000 in commission last year.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Requirements

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

While we encourage people from all industries to consider this job, every Sales Agent must obtain their Texas General Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) license to be employed at our agency. We’ll guide you on how to do it and pay for your study materials.

  • Already having an active Insurance Licensed is preferred
  • Previous sales experience is preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a bonus
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, telemarketing, or a similar position
  • Strong personality and drive to archive goals
  • Ability to understand complex concepts and explain them to others
  • Professional presence in person and over the phone
  • A High School diploma is required, and some College preferred
Responsibilities
  • Make sure all pre and after-sale processes are completed.
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to obtain and work with prospects with expectations of daily sales.
  • Work lead lists as assigned using the lead management system following the rules and guidelines set by your Sales Leader and/or Agency Owner.
  • Follow up on all new business clients to cross-sell and ask for referrals.
  • Handle service work as necessary. Although we are a highly specialized office, some service work is required.
  • Actively review, improve, and increase product knowledge skills.
  • DAILY TRAINING IS REQUIRED
