• Licensing: Active state insurance license in Property & Casualty (P&C); Life & Health is a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, proficiency with Windows-based software, and excellent phone etiquette.
• Traits: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage a flexible schedule while meeting sales targets.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluate client needs to recommend appropriate coverage in Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines.
• Market Analysis: Utilize quoting tools to compare rates and terms across multiple insurance carriers.
• Lead Generation: Develop a "book of business" through networking, local referrals.
• Client Advocacy: Assist existing policyholders with renewals, coverage modifications, and guidance through the claims process.
• Record Management: Maintain accurate client data and policy documentation in agency management systems.
