As the face of Asa Smith Agency, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the client experience, ensuring that every interaction is handled with professionalism and care. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, assisting them with their inquiries, providing information on our products, and ensuring they receive top-tier service at every interaction.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve handling inquiries regarding insurance policies, including details about coverage, benefits, and premiums. You will help clients navigate through the process of filing claims and understanding policy changes. Your role is crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and loyalty by resolving issues promptly and efficiently, thereby upholding the reputation of Asa Smith Agency as a leader in customer service within the insurance industry.

This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to provide solutions under pressure. You will be expected to manage multiple tasks efficiently, from updating client records to processing policy adjustments, all while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, a keen listener, and a proactive communicator who is motivated by helping others and dedicated to fostering long-term client relationships.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Must have adequate means of transportation for travel to the office.
  • Currently have or willing to obtain a Michigan Producer Property & Casualty license.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Provide detailed explanations of insurance policies and help clients understand their coverages.
  • Resolve complaints and answer questions related to claims, premiums, and other service issues.
  • Assist in processing transactions like policy changes, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to find solutions for customer needs and improve overall service efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
