The Role
We are looking for a sharp, organized, and proactive Commercial Lines Service Team Member to join our office. This person will be the backbone of our commercial accounts book — handling day-to-day service, client communications, and coverage questions with precision and follow-through. When capacity allows, this role also supports our personal lines service team and identifies cross-sell opportunities for commercial clients.
This is not a passive role. We move fast, and we need someone who can keep up, communicate clearly, and always know exactly where things stand.
Salary Range: $36,000.00 - $48,000.00 per month

Required
• Active Oregon P&C license (non-negotiable)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills — you must be able to explain where things stand at any point
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks and prioritize effectively
• Accountability: you own your work from start to finish
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation office environment
Preferred
• Experience servicing commercial lines accounts at an independent or captive agency
• Familiarity with Jenesis or similar agency management systems
• Experience with COI issuance, endorsements, and carrier portals
• Cross-sell experience or appetite to grow into that function

Primary Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day service needs for the agency's commercial lines book of business
• Handle policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, renewals, billing questions, and coverage inquiries
• Communicate proactively with clients and carriers — written and verbal — with clarity and professionalism
• Track tasks to completion and provide clear status updates to the team and agency principal
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system (Jenesis)
• Coordinate with producers and account managers on commercial accounts
Secondary Responsibilities
• Identify and act on cross-sell opportunities within the commercial book when appropriate
• Assist the personal lines service team during high-volume periods
• Support the agency's overall client experience and retention efforts
