Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, especially within the insurance industry, is highly desirable.
Licensing: A valid Property & Casualty Insurance license for Vermont is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying solutions and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

Policy Management: Process new insurance applications, renewals, and changes to existing policies.
Problem Solving: Address customer complaints and find resolutions that satisfy both the client and agency policy.
Documentation: Accurately document all customer interactions and transactions in the system.
Education: Educate clients on different insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting processes.
Feedback: Collect and report customer feedback to improve service offerings and address any gaps.
Our Allstate Agency is a family-owned business in Williston, VT. John Coburn, opened the agency 40 years ago and in 2006, I (Michael) moved back to Vermont from California to work along side him. In 2014 I purchased the agency from my father so he could enjoy a well-deserved retirement after all his years of hard work. I am proud to keep his legacy going of providing service-oriented business to help people in Vermont with their insurance and financial needs as a local trusted advisor.
