This Allstate Agency is located in Woodridge, IL. We help our customers with auto, home, life, renters insurance & more. This service-oriented insurance agency is owned & operated locally and has been a pillar in the community for many years! We are seeking to hire Customer Service Representatives who have a strong desire to help customers with any of our service-related tasks.

As a Licensed, Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for the agency. You will be greeting clients in the office, answering the phones, helping with tasks such as applying payments, answering billing questions, making policy changes, assisting with the claims process, and helping our sales team to ensure we provide world class service to our clients.

*Insurance industry experience and valid P&C license is required for this position*

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Requirements
  • Currently have a valid Property & Casualty Insurance License *Required*
  • Have a minimum 2 years P&C Customer Service Experience, preferably Allstate experience
  • MUST have experience working remotely and have a quiet, private, dedicated work station set up for an office 
  • Have a proven track record of dependability & reliability – showing up to work as scheduled, on time.
  • Desire to want to help educate others on insurance – how and why it’s important to have the proper coverage
  • Have an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Create relationships from a cold start and be able to handle customer rejection.
  • Have the ability to answer prospective client's questions efficiently and effectively.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) fluency preferred
Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet clients with a polite and professional manner
  • Assist current customers with service-related tasks, including but not limited to processing payments, making changes to existing polices, troubleshooting billing questions, assisting with the claims process
  • Assist the sales team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
  • Have an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ask each customer for referrals and recommendations
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products. (Commissions available for any sales completed by the CSR!)
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
  • Manage and maintain a positive office environment and perform any other office related tasks
