Position Overview

As the Insurance Operations Manager, you will serve as a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for the performance, development, and day-to-day support of key agency functions. You will help lead and strengthen operations across service, sales, life insurance, brokered policies, and daily agency operations while supporting team accountability, customer experience, and production goals.

This is a true working manager role. You must be willing to lead people, hold them accountable, sell, service policies, and stay closely involved in the day-to-day performance of the agency.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Must have an active Texas Property & Casualty insurance license
  • At least 3 years of recent management experience within an insurance agency
  • Minimum 3 years of recent P&C insurance experience
  • Allstate experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong working knowledge of P&C, life insurance, brokered policies, and service policies
  • Strong technology and excel skills
  • Ability to create reports, track performance, and clearly communicate agency results
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style
  • Someone who is both strategic and hands-on
  • Someone who leads with ownership, follow-through, and accountability
Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Help lead daily operations across both office locations
  • Support service, sales, life insurance, brokered policies, and day-to-day agency workflow
  • Be willing to sell and service policies as part of the regular day-to-day operation of the agency
  • Drive operational excellence by improving workflows, increasing efficiency, and reducing risk
  • Partner with leadership to turn business goals into clear operational priorities
  • Help create better structure, communication, accountability, and consistency across the team
  • Hire, train, develop, and, when needed, fire team members
  • Hold team members accountable to performance, service, and production expectations
  • Monitor workflow, team performance, and service levels to help identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency
  • Create reports and provide weekly check-ins with the agency owner on how the agency is performing
  • Identify process gaps and implement practical solutions that support agency growth
  • Help support a smooth and professional client experience through strong day-to-day execution
  • Lead, coach, and support team members
  • Lead from the front by selling, servicing, and coaching day to day while helping keep production on track
